If this ensemble is in any way representative of the next generation of opera performers, ‘the future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades’

A vibrant independent opera company, Operantics is dedicated to promoting the future of Australian opera. Since the company's first opera in 2015, Operantics has presented eight stunning main stage productions, including two Australian premieres (Gentleman's Island and Mansfield Park), oratorio and several concert series, featuring more than 50 emerging artists and creatives.

By presenting fresh, dynamic performances of diverse repertoire and old favourites at an affordable price, Operantics has developed a loyal following of new opera lovers as well as veteran supporters of the arts. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to experience these operas in an intimate setting, performed by the next generation of Australia's operatic artists.

Keep an eye out for Operantics’ next production. It’s an affordable, accessible way to enjoy opera without compromising on class...absorbing and genuinely entertaining.

Support Our Future

So far, Operantics has achieved wonderful operatic successes without any form of private or government funding, and we are now seeking support in order to enable us to grow and create even better and more diverse productions.

2018 marks an exciting period of growth for Operantics, presenting a more varied program of works including oratorio and more intimate recitals and plans for touring alongside our mainstage productions.

All donations over $1 are tax-deductible through the Australian Cultural Fund. Consider making a contribution and become an operatic superhero! Learn more about our campaign here.
