Emily is a 2nd year Bachelor of Interior and Spatial Design student, with an emphasis on Theatre and Performance Design, at University of Technology Sydney.
After performing in school musicals and drama groups for six years, Emily’s keen eye for detail and creativity gradually transitioned her love for performing on the stage to a passion for working backstage in set design, lighting and costume design. She graduated from Brigidine College St Ives in 2014 with the inaugural Designer of the Year Award in recognition of her high achievements in Visual Arts, Textile Design and Costume Design.
Emily recently worked as the Designer for Opera Projects, Sydney in the Spectrum Now Festival event, Madama Butterfly in March 2016. She is delighted to be collaborating with Operantics to bring the elegant richness of Jane Austen’s Regency period to life in Mansfield Park.
