Daniel Folesi is currently studying at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) completing a Bachelor of Music (Classical performance) where he trains as a lyric tenor under the guidance of Armenian Soprano, Arax Mansourian. During his studies, he he won the Open Performing Arts Award by the NSWCPC for his recognised commitment to the art.
In 2015 Daniel performed for St Stephens Church in their concert "Olivet To Calvary" as lead tenor, and performed a lead role in Ui nō Fa'aoe, the world's first Tahitian opera.
Daniel performed at 2014 Royal Easter Show and in the AIM's productions of L'elisir D'amore (Donizetti), and The Fairy Queen (Purcell) performing the roles of Nemorino, and the Groom respectively. In 2015 he played the Witch in Hansel and Gretel (Humperdinck) with the Institute.
