Australian-Armenian bass and pianist Christopher Nazarian is a graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His credentials include a Bachelor and a Master in Piano Performance and a Diploma and Master in Opera Performance.
As a concert pianist, Nazarian has a wide variety of performance experience in Sydney and Europe. He credits his five performances of piano concertos with orchestra as one of the highlights of his piano career to date.
Nazarian has also performed a number of operatic roles within the Sydney Conservatorium Opera School. He has been a semi-finalist for Young Virtuoso Awards 2015 and Finalist for the Opera Foundation for Young Australians. Christopher has performed as choral soloist interstate and at the Sydney Opera House.
Christopher was a study grant recipient of 'The Australian Elizabethan Trust Fund' for his participation in the International Vocal Arts Institute 2016, in New York where he performed the role of Frere Laurance in Romeo et Juliette conducted by Maestro Paul Nadler as well as working with coaches and teachers; Joan Dornemann, Mignon Dunn, Hemdi Kfir and Armen Boyadjian.
